SLUM

Descrizione del progetto:

SLUM project builds up tools for preventing and reducing waste generation in order to slow down and make more efficient urban metabolic processes, thus supporting a successful transition to a post-waste city. SLUM improves the conceptual framework of Urban Metabolism, moving beyond methods so far developed for operationalizing this framework. SLUM elaborates and integrates, by engaging targeted groups of citizens and public and private stakeholders (settled in the project’s host cities), tools of intervention and measurement able to develop scenarios and roadmaps leading to low-waste cities.
