ComfortSense

The project, financed with structural funds POR-FESR 2007/2013 of Piedmont Region (http://www.regione.piemonte.it/industria/por/), aims at investigating possible ways to reduce energy consumption in Turin University buildings while maintaining or improving people’s indoor comfort, through the development of ICT solutions. Sociological approach has been crucial in analysing properties and dynamics of the University of Turin considered as socio-technical system, in setting up a living lab and in facilitating the interaction between participants and technological devices.
