Public buildings are complex systems providing supports for social and economic activities that consume increasing amount of energy. COMBUILD provides tools to save energy while improving indoor comfort. The main goal of COMBUILD is the decoupling of people comfort and energy use, endorsing people to adapt in more sustainable ways to internal thermal conditions. A key issue for building and energy managers is finding a balance between users’ satisfaction and low energy consumption.
